About the Chamber

The objective of the Burton Chamber of Commerce Inc. shall be to maintain, promote and develop the civic, industrial, agricultural, business and social interests of the Village of Burton and the Burton Township of Geauga county.

Board of Directors

Suzette Wayman – President

Sue Wayman is a board member of Burton Chamber of Commerce. She owns Coffee Corners Antiques and Coffee House with her husband Jerry and son Jeremy. In 1997, they first opened as an antique shop. The coffee house was added in 1998 at which time she also became a Chamber member. This was in addition to the full-time jobs they both had elsewhere. After three years of doing both, Sue came to work full time in her own business. After about 10 years, Coffee Corners was sold, and they moved to the Hocking Hills area to start another coffee house. But missing family and friends in Burton brought them back in just two years. They were able to buy back the business from those they sold to, a blessing they are very grateful for. Burton is truly their home.

Sue is involved in many of the events that happen in Burton, including the car shows on the square every Wednesday during the warmer months, and takes great pride in the community and the people who live here. She and Jerry have three grown children, five grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. In her spare time, she loves to line dance!
